Royal oak lump?

Postby bowhnter » Sun Nov 05, 2017 1:12 pm

Since Wally World quit carrying RO lump, and any HD I have been to over that last couple days think that people don’t BBQ year round in TX...where do you all in N TX get your RO lump from? I am on my last bag.

Yes, we DO BBQ year round in Texas but the Big Stores don't respect that fact and this time of year the shelves gives way to Spooks, Gobblers and a bearded Fat Man. However, our HD and HEB always seem to have the Q stuff available BUT that may just be certain locales. :dont: Wally World doesn't ever do our Hobby justice on the Shelves but WHO CARES :dont: :laughing7: :D

I get B&B at Academy year round. I “think” they have Royal Oak as well.

I try to avoid a Wal Mart at all costs but when I have been there they had it out in the Garden Section and I’ve seen it in winter as well.

I’ve also seen lump at Tom Thumb but they are proud of it.

Good luck!

Well, looking online it showed the HD I was just at had 28 bags. Seems to be hidden now that all the Christmas stuff is out. They were able to go get me some. I’m restocked and feel better now
