Go 'Stros - - - Last Game

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Nov 01, 2017 10:50 am

I know that us Locals would have loved to have seen the Astros sweep and have the Championship Game Won at Houston but to me this is the best of the best playing tonight.

When it all comes down to One Final Game for all of the Booty - - - - - THAT is a CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

Wishing the Astros their best game ever tonight because that's what it's gonna take. :salut: :texas: :flag:

Lets hope they can get the bats going tonight and bring a World Series Title back home to Houston. Been a spectacular series so far. Incredible baseball.

My mate was telling me the Astros set a 10 year plan to win the title 10 years ago. This is the year going by what I've seen so far. Good luck guys.

That is not really true Russ, we have recently changed owners in the last 4 years or so. Which changes the course of any organization. And the new owner came in and rebuilt our farm system and made a commitment to winning over a period of time. And the biggest thing the new owner did was bring the Ryans back from Dallas to Houston where they belong. That being Nolan and his son Reed, who is one of the executives of the ball club.

Cheers for filling in blanks I didn't know. Our local team has won the national title 9 out of last 10 years. But that's rugby union.

Good luck, I will try to watch it.

No our local rugby team Canterbury. My area Canterbury is quite a small area by population, we have a very strong rugby base here. My wife works at boys high here. This is one of the best schools in nz. It's also known by the name " the factory" as it keeps turning out all blacks. My wife knows a few of them.
