Weekend road trip

My wife surprised me with a road trip down to Eugene Oregon to attend a Jimmy Buffet concert :D
We left Sat. Morn with another couple and headed South on I5 for the 400 mile trek. I still had no idea where we where heading.
We drove right on by Seattle ....which didn't break my heart. When we drove past Portland which is 300 miles south of home I started thinking WTF.
For some reason at that point I giggled on my phone JBs upcoming tour.
First tour up on the website was a show at a arena I didn't recognize the name of. Well I clicked on that and low and behold it was in Eugene on Sunday. I thought to myself no way. The last time I had seen JB in concert was 76 in a local theater that held 2000 people.

Sure enough we exited I5 at Eugene and the gig was up.
We had some of the best seats in the house and it was a awesome show. Concert was better then 2 hours long with only 1 5 minute break.
All though most the parrot heads are either bald or gray hairs they still know how to have a good time.

His shows are always good Bill, but that size of venue had to be really nice. I have seen him on quite a few occasions, he plays an outdoor ampitheater north of town here that is nice as well.

Very cool! We love going to the Buffett show when he plays Frisco …but I’d love to see it in a venue like that!

Sounds like a good time had by all. Where would we be without giggle eh? I use it all the time. Can't beat a road trip.
