OUP's present state?

Postby outlaw » Fri Oct 06, 2017 9:15 am

Just throwing this out there to see that kind of dialog we might get going. As you know, he headed out to a free concert last night of a Journey cover band. I watched a few of their videos on youtube and they didn't sound too bad at all. They really needed someone on their sound board, but overall not a bad job. So here are my questions:

1.) What time do you think OUP will shake off enough cobwebs to log on? After all it is after 9am already and not a peep.
2.) What kind of alcohol was consumed?
3.) What quantities were consumed?
4.) Did he manage to make it home without the aid of Uber, or a bondsman?

Alright. Ready....Set....GO.

Got home at 9:30pm - - - feeling no ill effects. Had no problem going right to sleep HOWEVER, about 1am my "ol hip joint" woke me up and then I proceeded to sing what I knew of "LIghts" and "Lovin Touchin" for 2 &^R@$&(^$(@$# hours or more. Finally went back to sleep and slept until 7:45am. Moving rather slowly but still moving and ate a good breakfast. Other than about 12 beers (Victoria long necks and Regal cans) we pigged out on some OUP White Chocolate Puffcorn, OUP's Cajun Version of Granny Crackers :angryfire: and way too much cold cuts and cheese.

Had a ball hanging with the Son and the Band was K.A. (Krazy Awesome). From talking to some of the Band we found out that they are local and they change members more often than they would like to.

Sherry's Bunch is coming up this weekend and I need to mow the yard "AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN TODAY"

You know Parts, you keep doing stuff like this and people are gonna get the idea yer like, 50 or something.

By the way, regarding tribute or cover bands, Hard Day's Night in Dallas area is my personal favorite. They wail.

Mom was a Beatles fan while my Dad drove around in the '62 Chevy truck listening to Bob Wills and Merle, so I was an enlightened but confused child, thank goodness.

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Boots, kinda of a co-inky-dink but there's a Beatles Tribute Band locally called "The Fab Five" and the dude that does John Lennon sat right behind us last night. We cheered, laughed and joked the whole Concert and then we talked after the show. Great Guy and Musician as well and he was digging the Band as much as we were.

Cool Capt'n I saw Zep at the Sam Houston Coliseum also - - - Y'all might have been there - - - it was the time that Paige walked out by himself and started doing what only he did at the time to a guitar and after several minutes the rest of the Band came out onstage and then they broke into "Whole Lotta Love" - - - all you had to do to get high was stand up and breathe :laughing7: :D

My Kuz went to Belliare also when Billy Gibbons was there
