Who has used this high end charcoal I see?
I admit I've ordered my share of wood online. I like the selection I can choose from and quite frankly the convenience. That led me to recently looking at lump charcoal, I was mainly looking to see if a larger purchase brought in lower prices then I can get in a store. I uncovered highend charcoal I've never heard of, fogo and devil or red devil something like that....good grief it's 50 bux a bag. Is it ANY better and by how much- I normally rate lump by size of chunks.....I don't like all that small crap.....I've never measured temperature or how long it burns etc....I can't see me buying it as I don't see the benefit but has anyone used this high end stuff before?

I looked into Red Devil once, and ever since, I keep getting ( special ) offers but I can't see spending that much loot...
I'm partial to Royal Oak Lump myself.
8$ a big bag is what I find. As long as the bags are thrown like a gorilla in the Samsonite Luggage commercial, they always seem to be good sized chunks.
Most of the time I get mine, they are fine. Also burns very hot and CLEAN.
Just my 2,¢

I got tired of bad smelling (burning) lump so I started using FOGO and it is way better than Cowboy and Royal Oak.
Some very large pieces in the bag and fewer of the tiny worthless bits.

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
