I would just sit and drool while that beast cooked. I still can't get my head around it, looking at pics again. You guys are so living the dream. How many hours would have gone into that?? I'm engineering background here so can only imagine the time and love.

I know for a fact that it has been in his shop for at least 4 months, but I bet closer to 5. He builds the trailers then he builds the pits and all the associated gear that the customer wants. The welds and the craftsmanship are spectacular.

we live at ChimneyRock & Beechnut - Bellaire / Meyerland - Houston.
1-mile north of Brays Bayou
Friday night, when Harvey came ashore we got 4"
but then the feeder bands hit us Sat. night and Sunday
all total we got 32"in
we ended up getting 1"in in the garage and our studio
but we had about 2½" before it would have gotten in the house

Good to hear from you, Capt'n, glad that it wasn't any worse for Y'all. My youngest step-son is not far from Y'all and he was in Romania with his GF so he didn't know what to expect when they got back. His friend a couple blocks away got major damage but, similar to Y'all, he only got water in the garage but nothing got wet that couldn't just dry out and be OK. Thanks for Sharing and Good Luck to Y'all. :salut:

Good to see you only had a close scare capt. Devastation was terrible on networks here, I followed on CNN and fox over here.

My dear friends in Baton Rouge emailed me the other day and told me of a location where the Cajun Navy was set up and helping. So the Wiffy and I drove over today with a donation and some things only to find that they had already left but what we saw was Heart Breaking. The particular Subdivision that they had been working in had 3 streets that were about a one each and the devastation that was piled in front of EVERY home there was mind boggling. Peoples "LIVES" were there on the Curb waiting to be hauled off. :(
