I'm dragging my tracks out
We had a gathering here for the Wiffy's youngest son's BD and she just about worked me into the ground with all the peeling, chopping, mixing and ETC. HOWEVER, it was a great day and she is truly the artist when it comes to party purdies. The cajun fried turkey that I paid $55 for was a waste of money but we ate it. That's what I get for not cooking my own Meat.

Re: I'm dragging my tracks out
Our hopefully future D.I.L brought two fantastic PIES but there wasn't anything left to take a pic of.

Re: I'm dragging my tracks out
thanks, Y'all
Oakie, it was actually OK for my taste buds BUT somewhat too spicy for a couple of them. It was supposed to be Cajun Fried and cooked BUT, if it was, it tasted and looked more like it had been cured/brined and smoked but not near enough. Lots of Pink meat in close to the bones and that was after 2 1/2 hours at 375 covered in a roasting pan.

thanks, PB
well, I had my first of what will probably be several meals of the white meat left overs and, with the help of Mrs. Renfro's Sweet/Hot Chow Chow and Honey Mustard, it was purdy darned good - - -

That's a good-looking sandwich, OUP.
Today we're looking forward to slicing up our leftover chicken breast for sandwiches.
