Americas Got Talent

Postby nascarchuck » Wed Aug 22, 2007 4:25 pm

Did anyone watch this show? I work on Tuesday nights, but was able to catch one or two of the shows.

The final two were both from the DFW area!!! Hows that for Texas talent!!!

I had a hard time deciding between the last two. Cas Haley was very good. He had a unique voice and style, but everyone sings...

Terry Fator was a very good impersonator and ventriloquist (sp) and had a great show.

On another forum that I am on, one of the regulars has a son and daughter that are both in bands in the DFW area and they have known Cas Haley for several years. Then there is another guy that has known Terry Fator since Terry was a child. Small world...

Both of these guys are very talented and I think that both will have very successful futures ahead of them.

If ya missed them, check them out on YouTube...

I think Cas Haley and Terry Fator both were very good.
Also the young girl that Dats was talking about was great for her age and with no lessons. CF :)
OK, get over it, you lost. God bless America

No Doubt about it. T F is probably thr best Ventriloquist on the planet. Cas was great as well...as was the 14 year old. Anybody watch American Idol? Have to admit I saw little of it, but did like Sundance Head....His father, Roy Head (and the Traits), played at my senior prom back in 65...B J Thomas was there as well.....Both Texans of course! Roy "Treat Her Right" (big tune), is also on You Tube......that man could move! Check it Out, very kewl stuff. And yes, I too could move jus about the same.... :) .....ok, not.

I thought that sundance was pretty good. The last two American Idols I had picked right. Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks. But there were several really good ones each of those tewo years.

I keep forgetting to go to youtube and search for Roy Head. Have heard that he was good.

AS for BJ Thomas, he is buddies with one of the guys here at work. The guy that was cutting my hair before he retired has played gold a few times with BJ. Everyone that I have talked to that knows him says that he is just a really nice regular ol Joe...
