Watcha Doin This Weekend? 7-27/7-29

Postby SteerCrazy » Fri Jul 27, 2007 12:39 pm

Ok kids, it's FRIDAY! We wanna know what's on the docket for the weekend! Looks like we had a NASCAR break last weekend and the boys will be at INDY this weekend. Who's gonna "KISS THE BRICKS?"

Also, I have a trivia question for the NASCAR fans. QUESTION:
WHO WAS THE FIRST DRIVER TO "KISS THE BRICKS" AFTER THEIR WIN AT INDY?

First to answer gets a hearty congrats from me :D :D

Trimmed up a 10 lb Choice Excell packer ...gave it a splash of wooster and heavy coat of Wolfe Bold and throwed it on my new electrified Brinkmann Gourmet. It a little too long for the grate so I bunched it up like an inch worm on the up stroke. Been chugging away in a heavy smudge of hickory and apricot smoke. Remote polder is showing it already at 141 in the thick part o the flat and only been on a coupla hours. I dont think it gonna take long for this puppy to cook itself...if the heat remains constant. General game plan is to cook it today..cool and refrigerate. Will give the final defat..slice..pan and sop..reheat and eat it tomorrow.

We are staying home this weekend except I'll go grocery shopping at some point. We need to get some DIY projects done around here. I think Sunday we're going to fire up the smoker. Not sure what we're cooking yet but Les has a NASCAR theory to test. You see the last time we cooked on race day, Tony Stewart won so he's wanting to make it happen again. lol

I now know the answer to the question but since Google is my friend, I won't spoil it for someone else.

Is that your final answer??

I will say even though Jeff Gordon was the FIRST winner at Indianapolis he is NOT the first driver to Kiss the Bricks and thus starting a trend at the Speedway
