This was a cool looking cloud that hung over us last night.
We had a pretty intense t-storm around 4:00 pm today. These pics are of a smoke plume off of burning oil storage tanks that were hit by lightning. They are about a mile away from our house.
We felt the shock here when they blew up. I drove over to see what was going on. Those tanks were only a couple of hundred feet away from people's homes, can't imagine the shock they felt. People were outside walking around so I think everyone was OK.
Pretty intense fire going on!
