My folks are going to arrive here from Naples, FL today (they were from here, then retired to the Yankee graveyard) ...so lotsa visits this weekend. Gotta stock up with some cuddle time with the kids.

Today and tomorrow day is family time. I get to work Saturday night, so Sunday is recovery. :(

Sounds like we need to be hangin out with Chuck this weekend!!! For me it will be cutting the yard, first cook on the new pit, and finish laying the hardwood floors in the house. Talking about all that, makes me think I should be working on installing a Hamic somewhere in the back yard.

Correction. This morning was family time. This afternoon was work time. We were starting to lose children, and the sun was finally out long enough, so no more excuses.

Time to cut grass.

No $&*%, it was over a foot tall! Made me wish I could bale it to sell as feed later in the summer. I tried to get Karen to stand in it for scale, but she basically said "No!" Plus some other words not for tender ears.

The dog looking out over the mess. You can see the cut line in front.

Final patch. The stuff is actually taller than it looks! It was almost to my knees in this area.
