New Deputy - JamesB - retiring Steercrazy

Postby Gator » Tue Aug 04, 2009 7:27 pm

Hello Everyone,

Please join me in welcoming (and thanking) JamesB as a new Deputy on the Texas BBQ Forum! James graciously accepted the new role and has agreed to wear a badge -> you know what they say about the lawmen, they are just one step away from the outlaws! Just Kidding James!!!!!

In addition to being our leading poster - James always seems to be helping out in some way or another so it was a natural fit for him. We gladly welcome James to his new role.

SteerCrazy needs to take a break for much needed R&R with the family and we really appreciate him helping us take our board from zero to one of the top boards on the internet. THANKS Steer! He may be retiring from law enforcement but he will still be with us here on the forum.

We gave JamesB one bullet to get started -> so do let it be you he has to use it on!

BIG THANKS to both James and Steer!
Gator

Congrats James...

I will get with the our fellow deputies and see when we can get you some training driving the squad car. Just watch OSD... He likes to play with the siren.

I'm looking forward to herding the cats with ya JamesB, this being such an unruly forum and all. Now don't be grumbling about the pay, I hear it is industry standard  And while I say "welcome aboard" quite often in the wanted poster section, a very hearty Welcome Aboard to the Cadre!

SC, thanks for all help since this thing kicked off. I remember that we were kind of making it up as we went along and your contributions went a long way into making this forum the best BBQ Forum on the web. I'd like to see a recent cook with the Spicewine if you get a chance in the near future.

Guess that makes me the senior deputy around here, (like that means anything  ).
