The system will not allow you to login and/or keeps taking you back to the login screen. This is an issue with your cookies (cookies are tiny files stored on your computer that keeps you automatically logged into our forum). Try the steps below - this will repair 90% of the login problems.

Make sure your browser allows cookies from our site

Internet Explorer: Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. Click the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to Medium. Click Sites. In the Address of website box, type "www.texasbbqforum.com" and click Allow.

Firefox: Click on Tools, Options then select the Privacy Tab. Make sure "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept 3rd party cookies" boxes are checked. Click OK.

Deleting cookies using our automatic link

From the main TBBQF screen (you do not need to be logged in), look down towards the bottom, left side for a link that says, "Delete all board cookies". It is just above "Who is Online" and "Board Index". Follow the link and select "yes" to delete all board cookies. Close and then relaunch your browser.

Deleting All Cookies from your browser

Internet Explorer: Tools - Internet options - Delete files - Delete cookies. Close and then relaunch your browser.

Firefox: Tools - Options - Show Cookies TAB - then scroll down to the "TexasBBQForum.com" Folder, highlight it and hit Remove Cookie TAB. Close and relaunch your browser.

Manually deleting a single cookie in Internet Explorer:

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Settings.
Click the View files button.
Click the Name column heading to sort all the files alphabetically, and then scroll down until you see "cookie_texasbbq".
Right-click the cookie you want to delete, click Delete, and then click Yes.
Close the window that contains the list of files, and then click OK twice to return to Internet Explorer.

If this doesn't help, please email me at gator@texasbbqforum.com" target="_blank, we will get you going in no time.

I opened a new acct since I couldnt remember the username and password I used before and knew no way to get ahold of an admin without rejoining. Can you look up my old posts and link to the new name. All I can remember was the email was seal.d1@att.net. Thanks
