Happy Birthday Sooner! Hope you are well.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Happy birthday! By the username I’m guessing you’re in OK? Grew up in Okmulgee and went to TU. Moved to TX in 1998. Kinda ready to go back home.

Reminds me of an old Hank Thompson Song.
I"m thinking that Sooner and Family are South of the Red River and North of DFW ????????

Re: Happy Birthday bsooner75
Thank you all. Had my butt kicked at work all week so we kept it pretty low key last night. Went over to the neighborhood pool, hung out with some friends, ordered pizza, drank some beers, and fired up the fire pit for some peanut butter cup s’mores. It was much needed relaxation.
GRail - I did my best to empty the fridge of as many craft beers as a I could last night
Tonight we are going to see Gary P Nunn and soak up some of the 100 degree heat
JReich - my family is all from Oklahoma but I was born in Longview Tx. My PeePaw made sure to ingrain the love for all things Sooners in me from birth. Went to school at OU. Currently we live in Celina Tx.

He played in downtown. Prosper is trying to grow their little downtown area. They have a disadvantage to Celina who has an actual square and does great events. Prosper is pretty much just a street for downtown with city hall, a food truck park and The Gin which is a cool bar and restaurant. They have some new things on the way though so I hope it does turn into a place to go hang out, eat a meal and catch some entertainment.
Gary P put on a good show as always. Crowd was small but I don’t feel like the event was marketed very well and 100 degree heat didn’t help.

So much for "it's cold over here and I swear I wish they'd turn the heat on"
