Problem Posting Pictures All Of A Sudden

Just today, when starting a new post, I'm suddenly having problems posting pictures via URLs with the [img] tag. The pictures don't show up in the post Preview. This seems to coincide with the diappearance of the selection line that included tags such as [img]. Did something change on the Forum or do I need to do something differently? I've tried this both on an iOS device (running Safari) and a PC (running IE).

there were some changes made today ; thanks for the heads up. Gator is trying to help the Deputies with the Spammers . We'll get it fixed

I notice that "BBCode is OFF" - is this why I can't use [img] tags with a link?

I’m the wrong person to ask. I have sent Gator a PM, he’ll get to it as soon as he can I’m sure

Yes, we had to disable BBCode due to some spammer issues.

Can you use the attachments feature?

P.B. - what I do is let my memory card/camera be my image host OR save the pics from the camera to a folder on my computer and let that be my host location.
