Re: Wild Bill
Yes Rambo, we talked via pm on here, I don't know if you know, but he had visited nz on a break. Before we had talked on here. He had some friends coming out here to go hunting and fishing. Last we spoke via pm I had told him I would look after his friends when over here. A friend of mine is a great hunter and has his own planes. Every time I see a salmon I think of him. Really missed by lots here.

Yup, and they speak of you with a smile on their face and fond memories.

Re: Wild Bill
Mr. Rambo i thought about him the other night as well. I saw a post from when he joined the forum and Boots was already in the House then and welcomed him. And i was thinking it was around this time last year that he passed. I was also thinking it was winter when he was on that trip.

Re: Wild Bill
I miss that panel basher, truly do. Every time we get bad winter weather I think about him telling the story about bouncing his truck off the gate in the ice and then just getting his own shop to straighten it out while he fixed the gate.
The Big Man upstairs does indeed love the self-made gent who rises in life because he yanked up hard in his own bootstraps.
I bet he and the Chile Farmer are having a great time. I bet the Chile Man is teaching him 42.
“A great man leaves his physical imprint across the landscape. A good man leaves his spiritual imprint on the heart of every person around him.
It is more virtuous to be a good man than a great man.”

BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Re: Wild Bill
It's pretty cool to see you all reminiscing about Bill here. I can tell you that his family is doing as well as can be expected. His wife Barb, his daughter and myself, and his son & his wife, are all going to Maui to spread some ashes out in the ocean on June 1st. Going to be a beautiful/tough day.
Definitely a big hole left in our community though, as well as this one here.
