I just saw this and am saddened. I did not know he was even ill. He was a modest, very kind guy. The forum is lessened by his absence.

A life well lived is a life well remembered by family, friends, and all who passed by. If the measure of a man's stature is the number of people he touched and befriended, then I don't think there is a long enough yardstick to put to the Chileman's life. Bill musta been watching over Yoda and me Saturday, now it makes sense.

Bill is well remembered.

Bill will be missed - When I joined the forum Bill and OSD (Jim) were the first to welcome me and set the tone for how welcoming the TBBQF has been ever since. RIP sir
